For this assignment, we had to tell a story using inanimate objects through 15 different photos that used varying shots and angles.
I chose to use supplies found in my school bag, so a couple pens and paper make up my story. It follows a blue pen that attempts to draw a heart but quickly finds it is running out of ink, so it asks for help from another pen, which finishes the heart and finds friendship with the other pen.
I think I did a rather good job. My photos expressed the story effectively, without needing any text or voice narration to explain what was happening, and even expressing some of the pen's pains or worries (even if it is an inanimate object). My shots, for the most part, were well shot and portrayed different angles and techniques used in films fairly effectively. However, I would improve this project by being more careful about the shots I take seeing as there were some that did not perfectly express the shot I wanted and I would also want to have more variety in my shots since I fear it may have been slightly repetitive.
